Private Waters

Cast into our three cold-water lakes, try your skills along the meander, or fish our two miles of private access on Digger Creek.

The 3+ acre Cookhouse Lake is nestled right off the deck of the Lodge. Sight fishing is the name of the game and with proper presentation, you may land a trophy trout of up to 8 pounds or more!

Island Lake offers over 6 acres of trout-filled water. This lake is deep and fish exceeding 10 pounds lurk below. Match the hatch and enjoy the catch!

Additionally there is a 3/4 of a mile meander that snakes its way through the middle of the beautiful meadow connecting Cookhouse Lake with Island Lake. A challenge awaits you as this fishing spot must be approached with stealth or your prize will flee. However done just right, you'll be running back for more!

Eagle Lake, Rainbow, German Brown, and Donaldson Trout inhabit the lakes of Digger Creek Ranch.

About two miles of Digger Creek round out the experience. Our private access of Digger Creek offers the angler a chance at landing native rainbow and brown trout.

All fishing on Digger Creek Ranch is Catch and Release Fly-fishing. Fly-fishing is permitted with imitation flies, single barbless hook only.

Only registered guests are permitted to fish the waters of Digger Creek Ranch. This helps to ensure the quality of the fishery and the privacy of our guests. No exceptions.
