Accommodations
Our four-bedroom, five-bath Historic Cookhouse Lodge is located right on the shore of Cookhouse Lake. The dining room, living room, and two of the bedrooms look out over the lake and the meadow below it. A spacious deck wraps all around the building, offering views from every side. The rooms are comfortable and all offer private baths. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals or use the outdoor propane barbeque.
The “Cookhouse Lodge” is the original Forward Mill Cookhouse. Loggers and mill workers from the turn of the century to the mid-50′s would receive their meals there each day.
